Designed specifically for refurbishment projects, the original threaded stud expansion bolt, known as the Type LB2 Lindibolt®, provides a unique solution for standard pre-drilled steelwork. Suitable for typical clearance hole diameters of M10, M12, M16, M20, and M24, this self-heading expansion bolt only requires access to one side of the hollow section. With a faster installation time and cost savings on labor, it offers an efficient alternative to welding or through-bolting. Its flexibility allows for adjustments to fit various thicknesses of steelwork, including a clamping range of 18-72mm for the M24 size. This bolt is also suitable for blind connections with access from only one side and is available in mild steel with a zinc plated finish or stainless steel grade 316.
