Hollo-Bolt expansion bolts provide a faster, more efficient alternative to welding or through-bolting for structural hollow sections (SHS). They only require access to one side, reducing construction time and cost. Installation is quick and easy with a torque wrench, and these bolts are also suitable for blind connections. The larger M16 and M20 Hollo-Bolts are designed for high strength structural connections and have a unique High Clamping Force (HCF) mechanism for superior performance. These new carbon steel, hexagonal head bolts have been independently fire tested for both tension and shear strength according to ISO 834, and are fire rated up to 120 minutes.
