The Type CF girder clamp is specifically designed for fastening steel beams, angles, and channels with opposing flanges. Its high slip resistance allows for a secure connection using two clamps, which hook over the edge of the flange. A bolt, threaded rod, or other threaded item connects the two clamps and completes the assembly. Type CF can also be used in conjunction with our other HSR girder clamp products to connect a flange edge to the flat face of a steel section. Made of SG iron and coated with hot dip galvanization, these clamps offer superior performance and corrosion resistance.
